God's revelation of creation is not just in Genesis. His Word begins and ends with creation. Adam, Eve, the Garden, the Fall, Creation and other references to creation are included in most of the books of the Bible. If you don't believe the story of creation in Genesis then you have to tear out huge portions of the Scripture. 

Creation

Four of our boys went through ALERT Academy. Joel & Justin stayed on to work for ALERT several years. The International ALERT Academy (IAA) is a unique Christian training and service organization. IAA encompasses several programs from its base in East Texas, including ALERT, ALERT Cadet, STEP, and Quest, along with our many camps and conferences. Our mission is “Preparing Generations to be Followers of Christ,” and we seek to equip individuals with tools to better prepare them for the specific callings God has placed on each of their lives. Learn more and catch the vision of the International ALERT Academy!

“You are witnesses, and so is God, how devoutly and uprightly and blamelessly we behaved toward you believers; just as you know how we were exhorting and encouraging and imploring each one of you as a father would his own children, so that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.” I Thess 2:10-12 ... In my heart I heard the words "this is what a DAD does". I've continued to look for these nuggets for the past few years. Dads, God's desire is that you continue to grow in your faith and become a master disciple maker, especially of your children. ​

What A Dad Does

We began home educating when Amy was seven and April was beginning kindergarden. That was in 1982. All nine of our kids were homeschooled through high school. Finally Anna graduated in 2010, that's 28 years of investment, which was the best investment we ever made.
